Raw Foams

Raw positioning foams are the most cost effective patient positioning option and provide artifact free imaging. The porous surface causes the foam to soak up liquids which means the usage of a disposable or cleanable covering is advised to keep the foam in a sanitary condition.

Covered Foams

Covered positioning foams are covered in a liquid-resistant vinyl which is sewn together to form a non-removable coating. The coating can introduce minor imaging artifacts but removes the need to use disposable or separately cleanable covers over raw foams. The covering is both durable and comfortable.

Closed Cell

Closed cell positioning foams are the future of radiology. This cleanable, non-porous foam is completely radiolucent. The charcoal grey, low density foam is extremely durable and comfortable for patients. Closed cell sponges offer artifact free imaging.

Invisi-Cote

Invisi-Cote positioning foams are high quality foams dipped in a fluid-resistant, cleanable coating. They offer minimal shadowing with low attenuation. They are our most popular range as they offer a middle ground between raw foam, which is difficult to keep sanitary, and covered, which is cleanable but leaves artifacts on the image when scanned.
